Finally!!! We have an Adidas Originals store in Delhi - in other words, a true blue sneaker store. Adidas opened this store maybe a year ago after converting their regular Adidas 'Black' store into the present day Originals store. I had heard about this store sometime back so I badly wanted to go, so one day I got a chance to head to Connaught place and check out all the stores there, this being one of them. This store is rather small, but I think this is suited for this kind of concept where the brand seems to be testing the waters first. I walked in and I was pleasantly surprised by the kind of offering available. Apart from the expected Adidas Superstars, Gazelle and the Stansmiths, they had a decent range of Porsche design, Goodyear Race in different colors and popular but uncommon(in India) sneakers like the Samba '85. Forest Hills, Azteca and ST versions of the Campus and Gazelle. But the sales assistant were lacking in their knowledge of what these sneakers were or their history, so I assume they had just bundled some of the guys from their regular Adidas store in here. One would think that these things should be taken care of, without having someone like me pointing them out. But if you know your kicks, you don't need these guys - you just need to walk in and do your stuff.

Products Available: Superstars II, Superstar, Gazelle (regular and ST), Campus (Regular and ST), Porsche Design, ZX700, Azteca, Stansmiths, Forest Hills, Half shells and a few more.
The Lowdown: One of the few places in India where you can go in and see a wall full of true blue sneakers. The quality of the store assistants sucks, but what the hell.
