One good thing is that now Converse sells out of many more stores than just Planet Sports and Pantaloon central. That does wonders for accessibility and all one has to do to buy a pair of Chuck Taylor these days is to head to your neighbourhood market. Dolphin shoes in Sarojini Nagar market, New Delhi has a huge assortment of Converse which rivals any Planet Sports store - they also have a big poster of Converse above their main store signage (see picture above). But only Converse seems to be their focus as I hardly came across any Reebok or Nike, though they had some entry level Adidas shoes. The shop was packed when I went there - the majority of their business seemed to come from black and brown footwear and ladies casual sandals. The quality of the salemen were typical of such stores; low on technical knowledge but high on persuasion.

The lowdown: Head up here if you want a decent collection of Converse - they have tons of it.
