This is the only online size conversion tool that accurately translates five different sizes across a dozen most popular running shoe brands. This drop-down tool converts US Mens, US Women’s, UK, EU/FR, and CM (JP) sizes to brand-specific values. We mapped the conversion variances between US, UK, and CM sizes across major footwear brands, so this conversion tool reflects those differences.
Footwear sizing standards are notoriously inconsistent. For example, a US 10 in Asics translates into a UK 9, but a US 10 in adidas converts to a UK 9.5. Even CM (JP) sizes are consistent across brands, and sometimes within a brand. For example, an adidas CM 30.5 converts into Nike CM 30. Nike even has separate CM (JP) values for men’s and women’s. As you can see, the CM (JP) sizes do not reflect the actual foot length, except for the smallest sizes.
To accurately translate the messy sizing standard across brands, we developed an internal standardization scale. The goal of this tool is remove one layer of guesswork, while making brand traditional sizing charts obsolete.
