Select your sizing tool

Use the toggle to select between a traditional (default view) Hoka shoe sizing chart, and our custom-calibrated universal sizing convertor. Our universal size convertor allows you to convert a particular Hoka size into another size from a dozen brands, including Hoka-to-Hoka conversions. At the bottom of this page, you’ll find links to our complete set of dynamic sizing convertors.

Hoka maintains separate charts for menโ€™s and womenโ€™s shoes, but we combined them for ease of reference; the men’s chart begins at US 5. It’s worth mentioning that Hoka’s JP (cm) and CN (mm) sizes do not reflect the foot length in centimeters or millimeters. Use our dynamic foot length-to-brand size converter for better translation accuracy. Learn more about how we designed our advanced sizing calculators, and why CM/JP sizing does not represent true foot length.

HOW TO MEASURE YOUR FEET

How to measure the foot size.

Place your larger foot on the ruler so that the longest tip of the foot lines up with the ruler markings. Record the CM measurement, with a +- 2 mm variance allowance. The heel should not be pressed hard against the wall; use a light touch. Enter the recorded CM value into our conversion tool.

A 45 centimeter long Staedtler ruler.

We recommend getting a brand-name ruler (like Staedtler) from your neighborhood Staples for accurate measurements.

To find out your foot size (we recommend centimeters), place the flat end of a larger ruler against a wall. Wear your running socks, and place the foot over the scale. Add a margin of 2-3 mm, and find the next full or half CM size. In this example, the foot is placed at 27.7 CM marker, so the next full size is 28 CM. That’s the value that select in our tool. For accurate results, do not press your heel against the wall but maintain just the lightest contact. If your left or right foot is larger than the other, use the larger of the two to measure your size.
